Spring Show 2023
West Moors Horticultural Society Spring Show
Although daffodils were late this year our members managed to find a superb selection and also a large selection of other flowers and pot plants
Floral Art, Homecrafts and handicrafts well supported
The West Moors Daffodil Championship won by Bill Howarth who also won several other cups for his entries
The Small Growers Daff Championship sponsored by Brewer and Brewer was won by Timothy Hamlett
West Moors WI gave us 24 superb entries for their Floral Art Class which was titled "In a Tea Cup" and this was won by Sue Blandford
Catherine Jenkins won best exhibit in Floral Art for.........
Jean Richardson won best exhibit in Homecrafts Bread Pudding?
Ray Cook won best exhibit for Handicrafts for framed water colour
Summer Show
West Moors Horticultural Society Spring Show
The 2023 Summer Show is on Saturday 26th August at the Memorial Hall it starts at 1:30pm. It is an open show and so non-members can exhibit. There are classes for Flowers, Vegetables and Fruit. In the flower section will be the West Moors Dahlia Championship. Other classes are Floral Art, Homecraft and Photography.
